Welcome

Hello, I very briefly "speak-to" the "batterybank" idea I have here:
..
.
..
.
At this site I plan on focussing on some of the basic concepts that form the basis of the "batterybank idea".  Without a good sensibility of these basic concepts, it is harder to appreciate the batterybank idea.  Many of these basic concepts deal with "ecology" (but perhaps not exactly as you might imagine just now).  Anyhow, I hope you enjoy this site and more and more details will be coming out - this will be a great place to get some fresh ideas....
.
Peace,
Ken

Velocity

So sometimes - things (so to speak) happen (so to speak) so rapidly that there is no way to keep track - i consider this "life happening".

Tomatoes...

I'm trying to figure out just now how to keep "my tomato" experience (story) as simple and succinct as possible.  ---- previous text here has been deleted - 9189.

OK - I'm still around (barely - 9189 - new moon day) and the 09 tomato growing season is coming to a close - I'll be honest this year was a failure for me, but I have learned some new ideas that I'm gonna implement next season - In particular, I plan on growing more basil - less maintenance than tomato - but I have a new plan for the tomatoes using a trellis-type system that a friend used this year successfully.  Just need to choose a location.

This could end up being a real easy way to grow your own tomatoes (plus other things like basil, which I discovered seems to do real well with tomato --- at least it seemed this way to me for this season).
I'll report back what happens next season (assuming I'm still around....)

So anyhow, the great thing about tomatoes (or basil for that matter or for a whole lot of useful vegetation) is if you are careful, I think you can get them to grow in your yard year after year without having to purchase anything.  Free tomatoes basically from the earth.  This is balanced and a key concept of battery banks is:   BALANCE.

Mission Statement

To be developed....but I suspect I have already stated the mission elsewhere.  Look around why don't you!  Look around and explore.
